Bahamas Cruising Permit

Spending the cruising season in the Bahamas? The last thing you want to happen after the crossing is a stressful check-in at customs and immigration. Don't worry about the forms and documents. I've compiled everything in one easy-to-use questionnaire to ensure your check-in and cruising permit is the easiest part of your journey.

Who Needs a Bahamas Cruising Permit?

In the Bahamas, anyone cruising in their waters with a private vessel needs a cruising permit. This includes private yachts, sailboats, and other recreational boats. The cruising permit allows visitors to sail, anchor, and explore the beautiful islands of the Bahamas for a specified period.

Cruising for three months? Six months? A year?

It can be hard to figure out what forms need to be uploaded for your season in the Bahamas. What needs to be declared, what registrations need to be sent, and how the cruising permit fee needs to be paid can all be stressful, especially after your journey across the Gulf Stream. I'll make sure there's no delay at check-in so you can be on the beach and enjoying the blue waters as soon as possible.
